Each day my thoughts and prayers go out to all our service members
serving around the world and to their family members who sacrifice so
much so that our nation can remain free.
I thank God for these volunteer defenders and pray for their safe return
home.

Dearest God Almighty,
It’s me, Susan, and I know you’re listening. The most beautiful souls are those who are actively blessing and helping their fellow men and women . . . and that certainly describes our troops. We thank you for their dedication and acts of heroism. In the meantime, a lot of family and friends are waiting for them to return home safely.
Please give them assurance of how much they are loved and let them use their training and brain power to finish the race with Your grace. My prayer, Lord God is that You give our soldiers much needed strength as they continue defending our great country, for what they do now will affect the future of our world.
